Synthetic Mica Tape
Synthetic mica tape for fire-resistant cables is a strip product made from high-quality mica paper produced by YUEFENG as the basic materials, with alkali free glass fiber cloth or carbon free polymer film (such as PE) as single or double-sid-ed reinforcement material, bonded with organic silicone resin, and baked, dried, and cut at high temperature. Mica tape is mainly used between the core wire and outer skin of fire-resistant cables to exert fire-resistant insulation function.
Calcined Mica Tape
Calcined mica tape for fire-resistant cables is a strip or roll shaped insulating refractory material made from calcined muscovite as the substrate, fiberglass cloth as the reinforcing material, and machine bonded silicone resin. Single layer wrapping can replace double layer wrapping to meet the fire resistance requirements of cables, especially suitable for the application requirements of ultra smallsection fire-resistant cables.

The wrapping process is the most critical during the use of refractory mica tape. Technicians select the appropriate width of mica tape, wrapping tension, angle, and wrapping speed based on the wire diameter. Generally, the length of each mica tape is between 500m and 2000m. However, when a mica tape is wound and replaced with a new one, it will consume a certain amount of user time. Therefore, in
order to save user time, tower trays have emerged. The longest length of the tower tray can reach 50000m (with a tray diameter of
400mm and a height of 400mm).
